John & Anna Pavey

MINISTRY:
 
John and Anna have been serving in France with International Teams since 1994.  They have been involved in a variety of activities associated with a French church - preaching, children, youth, leadership.
 
In 2006, they made a shift in their ministry.  Grenoble is a city that is home to over 10,000 English speakers.  For years there has been only one English speaking church.  John and Anna, along with two other teammates, felt the Lord calling them to plant an English-speaking international church.  The response has been positive, and the Lord has guided this ministry in many ways.  They are grateful to have active youth and children's programs, as well as small groups.  See the church website at www.icgrenoble.org.  Please pray for them as they seek to partner with French believers to reach the community for Christ.
 
In addition to being part of church leadership as one of the teaching pastors, John is a regional leader for their mission International Teams.  He oversees the other missionaries in France and Spain.  He enjoys this work, as it allows him to be aware of the ministries in many cities.
 
In the fall of 2006, Anna began a women's ministry to English-speaking women in Europe.  The ministry is called Lifesprings.  This ministry includes weekly Bible studies, monthly women's breakfasts, and an annual women's retreat.  You can read more about Lifesprings and see a video slideshow of the latest retreat on the website www.lsprings.org.
 
FAMILY:
 
John and Anna have 3 kids: Kent (1998), Brenna (2000), and Ross (2004).  All 3 kids are currently in French schools.  They are well-adjusted and are doing well in school.  We appreciate your prayers for them, as they learn to be Christians in a society where there are very few who believe as they do.
