Music Ministry

Mission and Objectives

We are here to joyfully bring glory to our Lord and Savior. We are servants called to serve our church body through singing and playing music that proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to encourage worship by presenting a blended music approach consisting of traditional hymns and biblically sound contemporary Christian songs.

Ephesians 5:19-20 (NIV) says to "speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Our desire is to be lead worshippers in praising our great God!

Events

Our primary venue of service is the Sunday morning worship service (11:00 AM - 12:20 PM). Music on Sunday consists of a band and singers.

We provide music for special events such as Christmas and Easter. We have included dulcimers and tone chimes in our special music and have performed a 45-minute Easter musical called "Risen" for the congregation.

Our children’s choir also performs special musical programs, most recently, “Listen to the Angels” at Christmas.

Prayer Requests

Pray that the hearts and minds of our worship ministry members will be focused on worshiping and praising God.

Pray that any member who has a calling for the music ministry will come and join us.

Pray that we always seek the Lord's will and direction in the Music Ministry and that the songs will be ones that glorify Him!
