Jim & Lydia Munn

Lydia and I have been in France with CrossWorld (formerly known as UFM International, and before that as Unevangelized Fields Mission), for the last 24 years. We were involved in church-planting for many years, and now concentrate on Bible teaching and mentoring.

Before coming to France with our present mission, we spent 5 years with Operation Mobilization -- about half that time on one of their ships, touring Asia with a variety of ministries on board
and with teams going on shore.

I, Jim, am the "director" (administrator) of an Evening Bible School. It's NOT an official Christian worker training program giving a diploma, but rather evening Bible classes and
Saturday seminars for the believers in the city of Grenoble (near the French Alps) and its region. There are about 20 churches in this area, and people come to the classes from 6 or 7 of those churches.

Lydia and I both teach courses in the Bible School, and I organize and promote the School.

We give personal attention to several students.  Lydia is especially busy, with several young women coming to our house each week.

Lydia also trains Sunday School teachers, both with a few formal theoretical classes, and with personal coaching of individuals.

Our son Robin is 27, and is a member of Wycliffe Bible Translators. He is with their Information Technology department.  He has just finished an assignment in Africa, and will soon be joining a team based in Dallas, Texas, developing computer programs for Wycliffe.  He is looking for more financial supporters to back him.

Our daughter Heather is 25, and was married May 5, 2007.  She and her new husband plan to work part of the year on a farm and part of the year on a ministry to the homeless in the
Chicago area.
