Art & Robin AllenRobin and I came to a saving faith in Christ during our teen years. The last five years of my active duty Air Force career I got involved with the Navigator ministry on base and began to learn how to follow Christ and be used in the lives of others. I left the active duty Air Force in February 93 and then met Robin that September. I married her in August 94. We have three children: Elizabeth (10), Philip (6) and Andrew (4). Since September 2000 I have been serving with the AF Reserves at Lackland AFB in San Antonio. I was called to active duty for a year right after 911 in October 01 and then for another year in March of 03. During that first year I focused on sharing my faith with military people on the base. Through group bible studies and dedicated individual time I was able to help several get established in their faith. As we saw this ministry grow and God’s blessing, Robin and I both realized through our hearts desire, the success of this outreach, the council of others, and in several other ways, that God was calling us to dedicate our lives to work with military men and women to know and live for Jesus Christ through the Navigators. We came on staff with the Navigators’ Military Ministry in November 2002 and started ministry full time in Apr 2004 to the soldiers at Ft Sam Houston Army Post and the military community in the San Antonio area. We have since moved near Killen Texas to minister to the 45,000+ soldiers at Ft Hood Army Post. Well who are the Navigators and what do we do? We are an International Mission Organization of mobile ministers who help people to “navigate” spiritually through life, and chart their lives by the Word of God. Our Navigator work builds biblical foundations, into peoples’ lives, one by one and in small groups, helping people grow strong in biblical disciplines like: What’s our focus: Our aim is “To know Christ and to make Him known” Why we do what we do: Great Commission: How we do it:
